Every five years, Palmdale Water District (PWD) conducts a rate study to evaluate the water rates necessary to continue providing safe, reliable service to our customers.
PWD, as required by Article XIIID of the California Constitution (Proposition 218), has conducted a new Water Rate Study to review the existing rates, and to determine the estimated future costs of purchasing water, meeting State regulations, and completing system-wide maintenance projects to cover the next five years (January 1, 2025 through December 31, 2029).
Palmdale Water District is inviting the public to learn about the quality of the water it supplies to customers and to tour its water treatment plant at its Let’s Talk H2O! Water Quality event set for 5-6:30 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 1.
